Anna Gabo has graduated from Stockholm School of Economics in Riga in 2001 as a bachelor of economics and business administration. She worked at the advertising agency DDB Latvia as a project manager and afterwards she established her own casting agency casting.lv, which has become the first Latvian online model database for the advertising industry.

In 2003 – 2004 she attended business school Turība, the faculty of law. Anna’s academic background combined with the previous experience allowed her to pursue work in the field of translation, which was possible due to ability to learn and fluent knowledge of English, Latvian, and Russian languages. Starting from June, 2011 till the end of 2016 she had been working for Booking.com as a freelance translator. In 2016 she has established a translation bureau Pros and Cons, which specialises in provision of translation and copywriting services. The number of its clients has reached about 40 companies in 3 years. Starting from 2019 the bureau added business consulting services to the list of its activities.

Currently Anna works on several projects, including the development of own fashion brand Ladneva with emphasis on jewellery making, the magazine for Latvian expats Expats in Riga magazine; she also runs a blog in Russian about non-touristy Riga Mint Riga.
